Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style?

Lifestyle, documentary, heartfelt. I like to capture candid moments and add a modern, timeless flair. My colors are true to life, with a tint of warmth to give you all those those warm fuzzy feeling

What if I need to cancel or it rains?

I generally do not offer rain checks unless there is a significant issue, such as illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. I understand that things can come up, and I’m always willing to work with you when necessary. However, please note that the retainer is non-refundable. That said, retainer fees can be transferred to another session, though this is handled on a case-by-case basis and at my discretion.
If it rains we can work together to find another date to reshoot but please keep in mind I can not promise a reshoot right away.

What time will the session be?

The best light is around sunrise and sunset, so typically I will suggest one of those times. Light usually make or break a photo. For newborn and studio sessions, mid-day is best when shooting for the most amount of light!

What if im awkward in front of the camera?

Do not worry at all. Myself is awkward in front of a camera. If this a wedding, couple shoot, or family I’ll use the natural chemistry between you and your partner or family (and some fun posing tips) to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and we’ll have a damn good time! If this a regular session (senior, standard, grad, branding) don't worry at all my goal is capture your personality and we will have so much fun

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am located in Norfolk County. I do require a travel fee for session locations outside of 15 miles of me. My travel fee is ¢.60 per mile.
Yes, I will travel pretty much anywhere in New England for portraits, and will travel anywhere for weddings, just let me know where and I am there :)

What if my child doesn't behave?

No problem, I totally understand! I've worked with many families who have similar concerns. My top advice is to bring along some snacks and comfort items that your kids enjoy. Also, try not to put too much pressure on yourself or the session this is all about having a relaxed, enjoyable experience for you and your family. You can frame it for your kids as a fun outing, and maybe plan a special treat or dinner afterward to make the day even more exciting.

When will i get my photos back? how do i get my photos?

My turn around time about 2-3 weeks for a portrait session. My turn around for a wedding 8-10 weeks but you will get 40-50+ fully edited photos 24 -48 hours after the wedding.

Everyone will receive all the photos through an online gallery, free any water marks where you can download all the high-resolution images to your phone or computer as well as have prints shipped straight to your door.
